Most condominium towers, those of up to 20 to 30 storeys use an approach where each floor supports its exterior walls. Not so with this striking slim condo pre-construction Toronto Trump Condo Tower, a structure that seems to pierce the clouds,, says Devaney. “What we did was create what’s know as a curtain wall, which, as the name suggests, hangs like a curtain from the top down, fastened at each floor to the structural frame,” he explains. While the cost of the Trump Tower in Toronto condo real estate market is perhaps triple that of the more conventional approach, the end result is probably 10 times more effective, architecture critics suggest.
